To determine the causes of the vibration, the SmartBalancer2 offers a high-performance, 2 channel FFT frequency analysis of constant absolute bandwidth: This enables the mix of vibrations occurring on the machine to be broken down into their harmonic components, and represented in the form of spectral lines with frequency and amplitude. By means of the frequencies, the causes of the vibrations can be detected, and unbalanced rotors identified. The additional software module for roller bearing assessment is also available as an option – even for retrofitting. This can be used to assess roller bearings according to the envelope analysis, and detect incipient bearing damage.
